I have always been pretty crafty.  I have created Batiks, Wreaths, Brochures, Scrapbooks, Counted Cross Stitch, Business Cards, Greeting Cards, Etc.

When my grandchildren need to do a project for school they know to come to grandma's house, because she loves to do this sort of thing and also has lots of supplies to accomplish something worth turning in.

Even though I am crafty I feel like I have been limited, because I never learned to draw or paint.  I can kind of copy other artists work and change it up a bit to make it my own, but I want to learn how to look at something and create it for my self.

I have signed up with a lady on the internet to start my journey.  Her name is Karen Campbell and she owns Awesome Art School.  awesomeartschool.com  In a matter of days I could draw whimsical faces on my own.

I also, just started my first ever college class at the ripe old age of 63.  I am taking Art 100 - Life & Object Drawing I at Ivy Technical Community College.
